who can apply
501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, educational institutions (preschool through college), and all units of government serving Charlevoix County residents.
what we fund
Arts and culture, education, environment and land use initiatives, community and economic development, civic improvement, human services, health and wellness projects, recreation, and youth projects.
what we usually don't fund
Ongoing organizational operating expenses, political campaigns, sectarian projects, loan payments or deficit spending, those services normally supported by tax dollars, annual fundraisers, or grants to individuals.
When to apply
Applications are due in the CCCF office no later than 4:00 p.m. EDT on March 1 and October 1. If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be moved to the next business day.

how to apply
Review the detailed Grant Application Process and Guidelines. Then call the CCCF office to discuss eligibility with a program officer - Maureen or Mishelle. If you are approved to apply, you will receive an access code for the CCCF online grant application.
