The Charlevoix County Community Foundation offers many opportunities to help you recognize special people who have made a difference in your life and in the life of the community. We accept donations made as a tribute or memorial to an individual, family or organization. Special funds can also be created to handle specific tributes and memorials.
Tribute Gifts
Contributions may be made to any existing fund to:
- celebrate and honor a living person
- celebrate anniversaries, birthdays and other milestone events
- express appreciation for a job well done
- memorialize someone who has passed away.
Memorial Gifts
When faced with the passing of a loved one, there are many decisions to be made. The Charlevoix County Community Foundation offers a personal approach and a simple option for directing memorial gifts for those who seek a way to honor someone who has passed away. We can provide sample obituary language for directing charitable memorial gifts, acknowledgement letters to those who give in memory of your loved one, a listing of those who gave, and customized donation envelopes to make giving easy.
