2025 scholarship recipients

We are excited to announce our 2025 C3F Scholarship Recipients! Graduating high school seniors and continuing education students from across Charlevoix County will receive over $681,100 in scholarship funds to help them launch into post-secondary education programs, including university degrees, career skills training, and continuing education programs. This year, we awarded a total of 77 scholarships to 54 unique students. Of those, 40% were multi-year scholarships, which provide financial assistance for students beyond their first year. Scholarship funds were established by local citizens and groups to honor family members, community leaders, educators, and others who value continuing education.

Collaborative academic scholarship awards make it possible to provide more significant financial support for students by pooling available dollars from multiple individual funds at C3F. Collaborative award recipients for 2025 are Ellie Clausen of Boyne City, Emma Meadows of Charlevoix, and Korbyn Russell of East Jordan. Korbyn had this to say about his collaborative scholarship award, “Receiving this scholarship is a great honor, and the support of donors means a lot to me. Scholarships are evidence that working hard as a student, an athlete, and being an involved community member pays off in the end.”

C3F also supported students seeking continuing education in the Medical and Nursing Field. Michaela Ford, who is attending North Central Michigan Collage, is pursuing her nursing degree right here at home. Michaela shares, “Receiving this scholarship support means the world to me. This allows me to feel more comfortable and confident that I will continue supporting my family while also pursuing a degree in a field that enables me to contribute to the community around me and assist those who need help.”

The following students received a C3F scholarship award this year: Alyssa Martin, Alyssa Wise, Ameilia Dunstan, Arlo Knauf, Aubrey Dunson, Breanaka Spang, Brielle Sutton, Calista Hoeksema, Camden Carey, David Dhaseleer, David Gray, Eliana Michael, Elke Knauf, Ellie Clausen, Emma Meadows, Emma Speer, Ethan McQueen, Gabrielle Hamilton, Gemma Bonney, Grace Chapman, Hannah Fortune, Hannah Haug, Isaac VanderMolen, Jackson Crouse, Jacquelyne Thornton, Jayden Gerloff, Jennifer Franckowiak, Jessamine Seltzer, Julianna Kathman, Kali Raycraft, Katelyn Dittmar, Kaydence McPherson, Kendel Saganek, Kenneth Balch Jr., Kierra McDuffie, Korbyn Russell, Lillian Curtis, Lilliann Fenske, Lindsey Jibson, Logan Wadkins, Lucinda Kibbe, Mackenzie Smith, Madison Bearden, Maria Crawford, Matthew Jarema, Michaela Ford, Norah Frasz, Olivia Maher, Rachael Hanson, Ruby Richards, Ryder Malpass, Sarah Eaton, Sarah Wyglendowski, and Trista Miller.
