a fond farewell
Join us in offering a big "Thank You" to our three esteemed members of the Board of Trustees, Jennifer Boyer, Monica Peck, and Bill Lorne, as they graduate from the Board after years of dedicated service.
During their tenure, these Trustees played a pivotal role in advancing our mission of enhancing the quality of life for all in Charlevoix County, now and for generations to come, by connecting inspired donors and dedicated community organizations. Under their leadership, we made record-breaking levels of grants to the local community, including $4 million in grants last year alone.
Our President, Sara Ward shared, “I’m proud to extend our deepest gratitude to Jennifer, Monica, and Bill for their years of dedicated service. Their leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment have strengthened our mission and impact in the community. We celebrate their legacy and thank them for the lasting impact they made.” We pay tribute to all graduating Trustees by making an honorary grant of their choice, offering one last act of philanthropy as their service comes to an end. Jennifer Boyer’s grant went to Communities in Schools of Northwest Michigan for their work in East Jordan Public Schools. Monica Peck’s grant went to the Charlevoix County Community Foundation for the Community Endowment, and Bill Lorne’s grant went to the Phyllis Malpass Critical Needs Fund, also held at C3F. As we look ahead, we remain inspired by the example set by these Trustees and loos forward to welcoming three new Trustees in 2026.
