Beaver Island Historical Society - Kids’ Camp

A Youth Needs grant helped support Beaver Island Historical Society’s Kids’ Camp, a weeklong day camp full of fun activities, games, crafts, outdoor adventure, and Island history. This past summer, 53 campers enjoyed the week of festivities, four counselors returned from the previous year, and the coordinator did a fabulous job organizing activities and the administrative tasks. Kids’ Camp is wildly successful thanks to the campers, the dedication of the counselors, and support from local Beaver Island businesses. Campers are marking their calendars for the next camp coming up soon – warmer weather ahead!
