Boyne City farmers market - summer live music

The Boyne City Farmers Market takes on an entirely different vibe when musicians are playing. While it is impossible to get a full count of traffic from multiple entrance points, when music is playing there’s a noticeable increase in people attending, patrons seem to linger and hangout longer, and they often bring friends or family. The ambiance of a happy shopping environment spreads outward. It is not only beneficial to customers, but also to the vendors, as sales increase. Many customers then continue to meander through downtown shops and restaurants as well, which then benefits local businesses and contributes to the vibrancy of Boyne City. Support from a recent Arts & Culture grant helped to bring music to the summer market in 2025. We are proud to support vibrancy in our communities and we are looking forward to another wonderful summer of farmers markets, outdoor music, and recreation ahead!
