Boyne City Middle School Where Everyone Belongs

In addition to their success as mentors, the 8th grade WEB leaders also grew personally as they learned to work as a team and develop skills of communication, problem solving and organization. The WEB coordinators also created an "A team" which focused on individual mentorship for particular students who needed additional support due to behavior, emotional or academic needs. This more developed relationship allowed some 5th graders to have continual support during classroom time, field trips, assemblies at school and other times where one-on-one support would be beneficial.

The WEB program is supported by the Boyne City Endowment for Student Success, a special fund held here at C3F to remove barriers to learning, provide enrichment opportunities, and encourage students to become successful community citizens. Boyne City grants for Student Success are also supported by the Boyne Valley Lions Club Endowment for Student Success Boyne City, and Smelt City VFW Post 3675 Boyne City Endowment for Student Success.
