Charlevoix public schools digital art

In the past year, students printed and displayed more than 20 digital artworks at multiple juried art shows. As a direct result, four students have earned art scholarships, including the top prize at the Jordan River Arts Council Scholarship Show. Beyond the financial impact, jurors and gallery staff repeatedly commented on how powerful it was to view students’ digital work not only as high-quality prints, but also alongside videos showing the creative process, time-lapse development, and animations - deepening their understanding and appreciation of digital art. Students are consistently excited to see their work presented in both print and video formats, and parents and community members have expressed enthusiasm as well. Additionally, this equipment has helped educate the public about digital art, elevating how it is viewed and understood in gallery spaces. None of this would have been possible without the support of C3F Charlevoix Student Success Fund donors.
