East Jordan Public Schools - Camp Willie

Sixth grade students engaged in project-based learning for this effort. They went out to the site, surveyed the need, organized responses for the grant application, and prepped the improvement sites. They focused their grant funds on upgrades to the boardwalk to the lake, new benches for around camp, and a new fire pit. We love project-based learning, and we are really proud of the efforts of the 6th graders to make Camp Willie a great place to be!
