The Kiwanis Club of Charlevoix Michigan - Dolly Parton Imagination Library Revival

The Kiwanis Club of Charlevoix Michigan and the Charlevoix Kiwanis Youth Foundation recently revived the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program in Charlevoix County, with support from a recent C3F Community Priorities grant.

A 2024 Youth Needs grant supported Raven Hill Discovery Center's Here Or There (HOT) Project. HOT offered each participant - whether a school, grade-level team, or teacher - a choice of a science, history or art topic to be presented in the classroom or during a visit to Raven Hill.

Training Wheels Childcare Center - Playground Equipment

In 2024, a C3F Geographic Enrichment grant for East Jordan helped Training Wheels Childcare Center purchase new playground equipment.

Grants for Geographic Enrichment Awarded

Charlevoix Historical Society - Upgraded Office Equipment

Not all grants are super flashy. Sometimes organizations need simple things, like equipment and technology, to continue their good work in the community.

Traverse City Dance Project - Free Summer Performance

With support from recent C3F Arts & Culture and Geographic Enrichment grants, the Traverse City Dance Project presented a free live performance in downtown Charlevoix for the third consecutive year.

With support from a Community Priorities grant, Good Samaritan Family Services hosted a “Fall Fun"d" Fest” last year. It was a huge success!

East Jordan Public Schools - Drama Department Upgrades

Last fall, a Student Success grant coupled with a Geographic Enrichment grant to East Jordan Public Schools helped revitalize the drama department with a new set of wireless microphones, new speakers, and new amplifiers to improve the audience experience while enjoying performances.
