Northern Michigan Equine Therapy equipment and tack

The crucial update included specialized therapeutic saddles, adaptive stirrups, helmets, protective gear for horses for their longevity, as well as grooming supplies and other horse care health items.

Executive Director, Courtney Sumpter, shared, “The new safety equipment has allowed us to serve our clients with an even higher level of confidence, and the new tack has improved the comfort of both our clients and our wonderful therapy horses. We have already seen measurable improvements in the confidence and physical abilities of our clients, which we believe is directly supported by the enhanced quality of our equipment.”

Youth Needs grants are awarded by our YAC (Youth Advisory Committee), a group of 16 high school students from throughout Charlevoix County who oversee C3F grantmaking to causes that serve area youth.
