Raven Hill Discovery Center Pop Up Museum

The pop up offered hands-on experiences, tested new outreach tools, and kept curiosity alive during a challenging time. The Pop-up Museum was open during construction in August, September and October last year. Two inflatable tents featured a combination of old favorites and new objects to discover and was fun for children and their adults. Admission was reduced to $5 per person and there was access via the detour to the outdoor exhibits on the main campus if visitors were interested. The Main Museum Building was available during bridge construction by reservation only. While this “Lemons to Lemonade” pop-up museum was a great learning experience for Raven Hill, there was a dramatic drop in attendance of about 50%, so they are glad that this was (hopefully) a once in a lifetime occurrence.
