Tara's meadow sustainability fair

C3F has supported this work for the past several years through multiple Environment & Land Use grants. Last year, there was a focus on local foods and ecological resilience. Topics included protecting habitat for monarch butterflies as well as presentations on permaculture and agroforestry methods. This year, there was a focus on “braiding” Irish and Indigenous cultures together as well as sustainable waste management practices. Each year, the programs are engaging, informative, and interactive. This work is long-term and can be challenging, but Tara’s Meadow is working hard to collaborate on and off the Island for positive outcomes. We commend their work and can’t wait to see what they do next!
