The Mt. McSauba Playground Project

The Mt. McSauba Playground Project led by the Rotary Club of Charlevoix was a resounding success! The Club is enormously grateful for and humbled by the overwhelming support of the community. Over two-thirds of the nearly $250,000 raised was funded from donations and grants such as the Youth Needs and Geographic Enrichment cycles at C3F. Additionally, over 150 Rotarians and community volunteers participated in a multi-day community building event in early May. C3F staff members Ashley, Bekah, and Megan joined the build as well as YAC member, Matthew and Geographic Enrichment youth member, Phat.

The playground was quickly put into use and has become one of the most popular playgrounds in Charlevoix. The summer camps at Mt. McSauba have incorporated coordinated use of the playground in their daily activity plans. It is so fun to see the kids interacting with the equipment! C3F was proud to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the playground and support a true community project!
