Organizational Funds
What is an Organizational Fund?
An organizational fund is established by a nonprofit organization, school or municipality to provide unrestricted operational support for their mission. Depending on your organization’s goals and support from your board members, you may choose an endowed or non-endowed fund to best suit your needs.
How to start an Organizational Fund
Request a presentation right here on our website through our online form. We’ll walk you through the different types of organizational funds that we offer and will help you design a fund that works best to meet your specific goals.
You can also check out this fund flyer for more information.
How to grow your existing Organizational Fund
We developed the Grow Your Organizational Endowment resources to provide ready-made materials that explain endowment, how supporting the endowment supports your organization for the long-term, and why donors might consider an estate gift to the Community Foundation to benefit your organizational endowment. We hope you’ll be able to customize this basic language to share with your organization’s friends and donors.
